Doing the normal backup, device switch, os install, restore apps, restore data....
The Facebook app reached up and bit me in the backside. The FB app took over as the default calendar and then my Enterprise Activation would not load a service book for my Notes mail. Could not force it to send a new CICAL service book for Notes in any way.
Wipe device, install OS, restore apps WITHOUT FB, restore data. Bingo. All is well.
That *&%$* FaceBook app needs to be deleted from the WORLD!
For the love of the facebook app, just downgrading now to .282 :/

Seems an improvement over .266 the memory leak has stabled out over .266, which wasn't bad. Love the 2G/3G selection option. Battery seems same as .266, which wasn't bad. I would say to those wondering about upgrading to go for it. At their own risk of course. These are just my findings for my Bold. As you know everybody may not get these results. Good luck.

Battery life and app memory are very solid on this build. In fact app memory rarely drops below 37-38MB on my Bold and I blow it up. Nonetheless I'm only back on 4.6 until they get facebook working on 5.0![]()

I found the media response to be really poor in .282. Especially scrolling through pictures; thumbnails were very slow to load and update each time, and I found playing from playlists meant I had an above average gap between tracks. It isn't down to an issue with my micro sd card as this is and has been fine on other OS's, and believe me I've tried them all.
Currently running 5.0.0.100 (again) now.
Anyone noticing issues with calls dropping? We are seeing it quite a bit, across a number of people around the organisation.
Also had very mixed results in the upgrade process. My device had to be Javaloaded, others had to be reinstalled a number of times before it worked correctly.
Welcome to BBOS Kozmo, thanks for joining us.
that issue with the calls dropping might be due to the carrier, as for the result on the upgrading process is something that we have to deal with, it depends on the steps you take to do the upgrade...
BlackBerry by Choice!
Now that you have had 282 for a few weeks, what are the ups and downs comparing it to .262.
