    We've found a leak of OS 5.0.0.1079 for the BlackBerry Bold 9000 today.

    Note: The Software Platform and Applications version numbers can be found under Options-About screen on the handheld.

    Installed OS 5.0.0.1079 today. Everything looks good except I cannot find my Notes or Tasks. Could someone help me with this?

    Did you perform a backup prior to updating? You can try a battery pull restart to see if that helps as well.

    Thanks Joe, I did perform a backup prior to updating, but I don't think that that is the problem. When browsing into the device files I cannot find the Tasks or Notepad installed, and neither can the Blackberry Desktop. I can configure the Tasks and Notes along with the Calendar and Contacts for syncing, but I cannot "select" either the Tasks or Notes because the Desktop states that neither are installed. Where did I ever have a chance to "not install" the Notepad or Tasks? In addition, I performed 2 battery pulls in succession, each lasting over 2 minutes. I really need for this to work.
