I've been running it since nearly when it came out. I have noticed improved battery life and a speedy browser. 3G seems to go in and out, but then again, we all know how crappy AT&T can be in the Bay Area.

Seems great to far, battery life is great and phonre runs smoothly.

No issues so far other than I can't seem to enlarge bbm display pictures (not sure if this was the same on the last few versions).

Guys. Can we try to follow the color scheme in the OP? Makes it easier for people to browse through and only read the content they want to. Thanks.

    Seems solid

I've been running .610 for a few days now and haven't had a single complaint. Memory and battery are fantastic, and after testing everything imaginable I could I've found nothing to be wrong with it.

My pile 'o apps that all seem to be fine:

    BES Connection
    BIS Connection (Gmail)
    BB Messenger 5.0.1.5 beta
    BeejiveIM 2.0.2
    BerryBuzz 3.0.59
    BerryWeather 2.2.01
    Evernote 3.0.249
    Facebook 1.7.0.22
    Google Maps 4.0.1
    Google Voice 0.1.7
    PodTrapper 2.6.9
    QuickLaunch 1.3.2
    ScoreMobile 1.3.2
    Slacker Radio 3.0.464

I have to agree the battery life has been amazing to far! I had a +2 hr convo on a 50% battery to come off and still have 25% left!

Only thing I've noticed now is that I don't seem to have a Note application. Was this the same with the last couple of upgrades?

Shazam does not work with this release, just like it didn't on .592. Anyone know a fix?

That's not an option that you can assign to a convenience key ... probably because it's already hard-assigned to the mute button on top.

Why is having it assigned to a side key so important, if you don't mind my curiosity?

this was possible on the .411 official from bell. the lock button on top doesn't work anymore so i assigned it to the left convenience key. i need it for obvious reasons since my bb stays in my pocket.

any advice on an OS that has this option still available? the only reason i had to upgrade from .411 is cuz it would ask me to clear cache memory every three or four pages when browsing on the bb browser. this can get very annoying especially when trying to put a bid on ebay at the very last moment....

    any help is appreciated!

My top mute button crapped out on me as well ... ended up getting a new midplane and bezel kit from truesupplier.com to fix it. All black looks better than the scratched up chrome anyway.

oh...i have a phantomskin on mine. no scratches on the chrome at all. the button just stopped working one day.

anyway, have any insight on which OS will give me the lock option and not ask me to clear my cache memory every couple of pages when using the bb browser?

The new mute button lock functionality was introduced in one of the last few builds, I honestly don't remember which one. I'd suggest doing a quick dumpster-dive through the related threads on here for each of the last several builds to see when it popped up, and use the latest stable build before that.

Frankly though, I'd recommend instead focusing your efforts on fixing the mute button on your phone, because these latest builds are awfully damned slick. Snag a cheap T5 screwdriver and bust that puppy apart; I was able to originally fix mine by just taking it apart, cleaning out some dust, and putting it back together. There is a disassembly video on cnn.cn if you're worried about how complex the procedure might be.
