oh and yes thx for the hybrid xonz =)
Quick review :
1. Startup is fast until 60% (Was happy the line went fast... but stopped at 60% and really slowed)
2. 1st memory after installation (did the wipe) is 38 MB... I installed east asian support... Dunno if it affects the memory that much... I was hoping to get 50 ish...
Now I'm doing 2nd wipe =)
The first boot up on any new OS load is super slow. Once it hits the 60% area it starts running all the modules and slows down. Kinda like a first time configuration. I would judge it by the 2nd or 3rd startup.
Okay.. after 2nd wipe and after 2nd restart...
1. startup is outrageous... beyond my imagination.. less than 1 minute I believe...
2. memory @ startup is 40 ish
will report more =) thx xonz... loving this build
i still have problems connecting with wifi. i still have to manually connect to the networks that i have saved. i dont mind since i rarely use wifi anyway. other than that i havent really noticed any differences. i started off with 43 mb free after a wipe but i did install a few apps when i was loading up the OS. after reinstalling all the apps i had before i wiped im getting 33 mb free after a battery pull. itll probably end up being the same as the regular OS was with memory management. after a few days it always seems to level off at around 20 mb free after a battery pull.

Should I be able to see the hybrid files in under modules after copy and pasting them into the .464 java?
Not sure what I did last night but couldn't get it right. Tried again this morning and it went beautifully. Up and running now. Thanks Xonz.

Okay.. been using it 1 day..
Installed :
1. berryweather
2. berrybuzz
3. BBM
4. Windows Live Messenger
5. Drug Lord Wars
6. Quickpull
7. Ubertwitter
8. Bolt browser
9. Filescout
10. BBosAlert
Startup takes approximately 1 minute and 45 seconds --> counted it right after I put the battery in... (which is very very wonderful for me), with memory 31 MB...
After almost 10 hours, the memory stays at 24 MB....
The problem I have is, the instant messaging profile keeps returning to default after I reset... FYI, I use extra profile so I don't edit the existing ones...
other than that... AMAZING =) great job
Finally got to install last night. This is the very first OS 5 build that I have been able to install. Previously other buillds would never finish booting and get to the home screen. So I was so excited that it booted completely and the home screen came up.
I checked my memory after installing OS before adding my apps and it was at 42. Then I loaded all my apps (rough count 45 apps) and was very happy to see that my theme worked in this OS. My memory after booting with all these apps is 26.97 and it takes less than 2 minutes to boot.
I am having one issue with Fixmo Tools, can't clear cache with it because it freezes screen afterward it runs. In QuickLaunch, memory cleaner won't run at all. Don't know where the memory cleaner is in options to run it from there.
I use BerryBuzz and it works better on this OS. Browser works and I have VVM, but haven't gotten a call so don't know if that works.
Since this is my first time using OS5, there are some changes that are going to take getting used to. The main one that I don't like is I get Twitter texts and they all go into one 'Chat' so it is hard to scroll through them. I know this is the way of the OS and not your build, but still hard to get used to. The new texts also don't show on my home screen today feature like messages do anymore. I don't know if other themes would display text msgs in today or if this is an OS limitation.
I will post again after I have used it for a while. I went to bed right after I finished installing everything and have only used BBM and texts and the browser so far. Making a note here: I took phone off charger at 5am and now at 8:40am I am at 75% battery.
Thanks again!!![]()
