Thread: Bold 9000 OS 5.0.0.411 Findings and Fixes

i know, i suffered the reboots on .314, and 348.

i just got the storm 2 recently.

so, the first bug was reported

when you take a pic, the 3 middle buttons are grayed out.

you can delete pics with menu > delete, dont remember what where the other 2 for.

edit: set as.. and rename (im translating from spanish, from memory :P)

and all options are under menu, so no biggie :P

I need to do a IMEI sweap from my iPhone 3GS to the Bold, anyone on AT&T experiencing issues at this time?

Running on ATT - MUCH more responsive and faster than .238!!

Anyone have the VVM files? The ALX is empty. Do we need to install the .238 files again?

IMEI swapping is illegal and shall not be discussed on BBOS.

I apologize if you did not understand my intent. I need to call AT&T and have them swap my IMEI so that my Blackberry will work since I currently have an iPhone 3GS on my account.

With that out of the way, any one have an answer regarding the ALX/COD files for VVM for the Blackberry Bold on AT&T which I will be activating after I have them deactivate my iPhone 3GS via a IMEI change?

well, i just broght links others found, i even mentioned the sources :P

but as far as i can see, both links still work.

you might want to use jdownloader tho (at least on the megaupload one )

Anybody have the cod's for vvm that will work on this os build?

I have the COD files from 5.0.0.238 that still appear to work.

Having a slight bit of an issue after installing the new OS on my PC and deleting the vendor.xml file... once I started DM to load the OS to my BB I receive the error message... "The application "BlackBerry 5.0.0 Core Applications" cannot be loaded because some required files are not available." Not for sure how this happened but I simply downloaded the OS and deleted the vendor file... first time I've ever had an issue with loading a OS...

Same here, Nimbuzz hangs on "signing in..." screen mfg:

At least you have the new build installed on your BB... I can't seem to get this to load... never had a problem before... I don't get it...

anyone encountering trackball double press?
eg, it will double select occasionally when using the ball to click once.
