ahahha nah the 3 battery pulls come from lyricidal the one that makes the Hybrids (he claimed) its helps the process.

I do it by default now:P

But i will try touching my nice with my pinky and clicking my heels 3 times but should i do it with my blackberry in my hands or should it be connected to the computer? so when i touch my keyboard when doing the clicking it automaticly forwards my force to my bb over usb?

But on a more serious note, why does everyone suggest 3 reboots, i have found that it makes little to no difference for me, 1 reboot yes, this i can understand.

also got a random reboot on this OS when setting up the facebook app after installing it. not had any problems since then and i have been using my blackberry constantly.

facebook is working fine now though.

myspace
facebook
gtalk
msn
BBIM 5

are all working fine

this is a million times better than .314 if a little bit slower.

will comment on battery performance when i have had a chance to run my battery down.

u know u can, boot ur blackberry without the battery just with the usbcable
(connect apploader) that should stop the cycling <

download bbsak 1.7 or whatever 1.3 is also cool. wipe ur phone
then reinstall it without simcard. and memory card.

(format your memorycard in your computer)
and insert it blank in your blackberry after the installation

i would say its the ATT VSM <-> But some say its the service book.
Well i cannot test it cus i don't have a ATT Phone/VSM nor servicebook. so if this does not work and u have ATT.

Do the first boot without the simcard.. and memorycard
Do the second boot with simcard -> after the installation is completed.
Reinstert your memory card

And do 3 battery pulls

Think it should work then

VERY NICE POSTS neelzz! This is confirmed if you are on ATT you must install this without the SIM card in.... I'm still having issues but it booted into the OS without the SIM card installed, I installed the SIM after it booted once and now its rebooting again.................BLAH i'm trying to find a work around but so far no luck......WTF ATT.

What a joke. This won't work with AT&T......... I had everything running great with no SIM and as soon as I put the SIM back in and the phone booted up and queried the Mobile Network of AT&T it just WENT BOOM REBOOT. AT&T you are on your last straw with me this is utterly ridiculous. I'm going back to .238 until someone comes up with a workaround somehow or a new leak drops I guess. VERY Disappointed.

When I go to Settings the Memory option is not accessible. It's only possible when I pull the SDCard. And then it says GB instead of MB... Same when media player shows file size. Can somebody confirm?

Going through same issue as i am with at&t.

At least we got an official from them 4.6.0.304, going to install this instead. What a shame.

at least AT&T is releasing official OS's still. Glad to hear they are alive lol. Now we just need an official 5.0.

Ok, successfully wiped and back to the 507 screen using the old school javaloader WIPE...

Now downloading to 4.6.0.304 using DM.....

Then will try just upgrading without wiping ...


I have attached the javaloader wipe program....

Just download
unzip
close DM, make sure handheld manager is not running, check task manager, close all RIM programs.
wait until you see the blackberry screen showing the it's booting up
double click WIPE.BAT....do not run as administrator...

it will say connecting for about 30 seconds and then when you see "disconnected"...you're good to go..should see the 507 screen shortly...

that should get anyone having trouble back to the 507 screen and then you can go from there..

Ok, DM would not let me load 5.x.x.348, even though it showed it with the new ATT version, .297 and the original.....

So, now using BBSAK to load 5.x.x.348 via the app loader...
