Just noticed a new interface to set the alaram ... looks very iphone-ish to me

for some reason, i can't create a sms but it works when i reply...weird

Yeh I got it working when I deleted the Vendor I totally forgot to do it...

Just noticed something even though its small and doesn't affect the functionality it still kinda bugs, the carrier logo above the time is not centered.

This is a theme issue, try a different one. Mine doesn't even show the carrier

He is over 750 now and working diligently on the 8900 hybrid... posting his findings and test results on twitter... Cant wait to try the end result!!!

CHeck out the entire screenshots. Not to mention that BBM 5 is missing - but thats OK as you are supplemented by threaded sms and GMAIL ENHANCED capabilities like archiving, start, etc like your web gmail on this OS.. Pretty stable as of now very few problems.

8/10 my ranking....


And yes not to miss all the Blackberry Tour themes are compatible on this OS .190 on 8900/Javelin..

I have the same problem...where you able to solve the problem (excusse my ignorance, but what is Hybird?)

Same fix you just need the service books from your own carrier. You can retrieve them from a recent backup if you have one

i did notice one thing, voice dial error's out when using it while my handsfree bluetooth is connceted to it in the car.

I have a hard install unit : Parrot 3200LS. if i disconnect it then voice dial works fine

i did find that the camera loads much faster.. some minor bugs like off centered carrier logo, new message indicator does not go away on a custom folder unless i reboot or change theme, all these are minor...

browser works fine for me... most of the applications got deleted so i can say what works now what doesn't until i re-install all of them, weather eye works just fine.

I have not been able to solve the browser problem, the att fix mentioned earlier in this thread did not work for me.

A hybrid O.S. is a operating system that is a mix of what works best at the time of a beta release. In my case I am using Lyricidal's 8900 version 2. It has modules for three or four different O.S. releases. 4.6.1.250, 4.6.1.272, 4.6.1.286, 5.0.0.100 and files from 5.0.0.190. Now Lyricidal's build was made with 5.0.0.140 so I swapped them with .190... Lyricidal was ok with this... Now my version isn't for download and I only been running it for a few hours but I can tell you Lyricidal's hybrid is uber stable and be found below...

There are other hybrids on the way by these Hybrid Masters found here at BBOS, but I feel they are waiting for 5.0.0.191 to be released.
