    OS updates are device-specific. There is NO update to OS 6 for 8900 as it doesn't meet the requirements for running OS 6.

    The highest release of OS that can be installed on the 8900 is OS 5. OS 6 cannot be installed on the 8900 due to hardware limitations, such as memory, cpu power, ect.
