Thread: OS Package 5.0.0.1004

I was just going to note that 5.0.0.1004 was available for both the 8900 and 9000 from Wind Hellas... I didn't see it in the downloads tab, and it's not really "new." But I didn't see it anywhere so... here ya go.

5.0.0.1004 is the package version. Generally we go by the Application version, which is 5.0.0.592.



We do have this version in our download center for both the 8900 and 9000. Also, I have moved this thread into the OS forum.

And does anyone know if there are issues with using this on an AT&T phone? I haven't upgraded in a while (since the last time i bricked my berry) and thought i'd use my free time to try this os out.

No issues using on att. Just make sure to delete the vendor.xml file.

If you follow this guide, you should have no issues.

When I made the jump from 4.7 to 5.0 I was quite impressed myself. I just hope OS6 does the same because as it stands I'm impressed but I want to be blown away.
