Curve 8900 OS 5.0.0.461 Findings & Fixes

Maybe this will get the day started on a good note.
A tweeter by the name of Raptor464 and a member of BBOS has informed us that Multiple carriers have released OS 5.0.0.461 for the BlackBerry Curve 8900. Thanks Raptor!
Those carries would be Cosmote, Globul, Jersey Telecom, Mobiltel, and Sunrise.
Must be something to this build as so many carriers would device to give this the thumbs up at one time.

Download Officially Released OS 5.0.0.461 from Jersey Telecom

Of course, if your carrier is not listed just be sure to delete the Vendor file before installing this OS to your device.

Downloading as i type..anybody has found any problems with the new OS????

Is the lock key still broke in the official release.

Yes still missing and some of the app arent working properly....going back to 411!!!

It would be nice to know of they intentionally removed the "Lock without password" feature or if it was an oversight/bug.

I think it is a bug because not even the keyboard would lock the phone it will just go on stand by!!!

I've had no issues with it at all. Mine locks when it is pw protected but not when disabled.

unable to lock without setting password for it is pretty annoying....

That is my big complaint with this version. I like(d) locking the keypad without having a password on my BB.

I just loaded today, still trying to recover my memopad and tasks apps. . .used the Jersey tele version.

ok, I finally got them reloaded-was worried for a while but then found some very useful info from another thread!
