Indeed it is, fortunately we have already a MU link for the .464/9000 - but not yet for the 8900, sorry.

Can anybody confirm this release has the EDGE bug still. The ability to lock the phone is gone with both locking options.

What EDGE bug and what do you mean it can't lock?

EDIT: I still don't know about the EDGE bug, but I can confirm that this version doesn't let you lock the phone by the button on the top nor is there a lock icon in the system. Back to .411.

EDIT to the EDIT: On other BB sites, it is being reported that if you put a password in to unlock your phone, it will enable the lock button and show the icon again.

I wonder if it"s a bug or feature to increase security.

After installing, going back to .411 and then re-installing .461 again, the lock still doesn't work without a password. However, as others have pointed out, the mute button does put the phone in standby. I decided that the quickness of .461 over-shadowed the lack of lock.

After using it for a few days, it still feels pretty snappy. I wish the lock function was in there, but I like the speed.

I just installed this OS to my wife's device. She really notices the difference but the battery life also go with it. Regarding the lock function, setup a password generally solve the problem.

I never went to 411 -- was on 348 since it was leaked, skipped 411 because it didn't sound that much better, and then jumped directly to 468 -- and it's been excellent overall. All my apps work, it's fast and responsive, much better memory than 348 (seems like I'm averaging about 15 to 20mb more "free" than I used to have with 348), and I'm finding battery life better with this version as well. All in all, seems like an excellent release.

I always run the leading and bleeding OS release. I ended up going back to .348 because it was not materially different and Nimbuzz, the only free IM with Facebook chat (that works1), doesn't run on this or .411.
