    4.5.0.138 for the 8830WE has been released officially from Verizon. Visit Verizon Wireless to download it now.

    Hopefully now with this one out they can focus on getting the Storm OS released soon.

    i ordered an 8830, can i set it up to where it and my storm can be updated/ backed up/ modified on the same computer? i'm guessing i can just choose which PIN to use in DM, but wanted to make sure.

    Anyone have any insight on wheter to expect any more software updates for the 8830? The phone has been out for so long and so many newer models have come along since that I would think that it would begin to be obsolete, however it is still listed as a current model phone at Sprint. I still have two 8830's on my account that I plan to keep for a while.
