OS 5.0.0.1036 for the Curve 8520 has been leaked! While 8520 users are not expected to get an OS 6 upgrade, it’s nice to see RIM has not left you in the dust and is still upgrading your operating system. No word as to what improvements should be seen with this leak, but we can always hope for increased speed and battery life. If you try the update, please be sure to let us know what you think and what improvements you see by taking part in our discussion forum.

There are a ton of us out here. Speaking for myself, I have to admit that although I was a skeptic of the 8520 when it came out, due to its price-point... it's been a great phone. The ROMs have worked great and all in all I have no complaints. Great phone for the money.

Just curious if you tried this leak or not and if so, any improvements/problems?
