5.0.0.230 is for the Storm, your profile says Storm... this post and the OS is for the 8330 Curve so I suggest you stay with the 5.0.0.230.

Man o Man when will my 8330m have an update. I guess i'll have to wait til the Essex comes out. I kinda like my stone age BB though. heh

Actually, 5.0.0.230 for the Curve is out and probably like me, he has both a Curve and a Storm. I'm using the Curve for now, need the stability, and like the physical keyboard features more than the touch screen features. Having said that, I keep bouncing back and forth.

5.0.0.230 on the Curve was ok and promising, but I just kept having a few little problems with lock ups and funny screen issues in my email. Again, needed the stability. 4.5.0.170 looks like a go for my situation, so I'll be looking at it this evening when I have more time.

Bottom line, my phone has to work and work all the time, that's why I have it.

Should have been more clear i Have the storm .230 Wife has the 8330 Curve I am actually going to try this out

Im curious to know if you were having issues under the 230 trying to get messages and would not open this is the issue with me. Just did a bettery pull and messages opened back up.
