When the release says "BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.254 (EastAsia)", what does the EastAsia imply? Will it still have English as a language choice?
For Dialog Sri Lanka it shows as:
BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.81 (EastAsia)
Package Version: 4.5.0.81
Consisting of:
Applications: 4.5.0.55
Software Platform: 2.7.0.68
File name: 8310EastAsia_PBr4.5.0_rel81_PL2.7.0.68_A4.5.0.55_D ialog.exe
File size: 71.73MB
While everyone else has a varying listing of:
BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.174 (EastAsia)
Package Version: 4.5.0.174
Consisting of:
Applications: 4.5.0.124
Software Platform: 2.7.0.92
File name: 8310EastAsia_PBr4.5.0_rel174_PL2.7.0.92_A4.5.0.124 _Vodafone_M1.exe
File size: 86.73MB
So if you are going by decimal placing rather than the number, .55 is better than .124, right? Even tho the install package is smaller? or does .124 make more sense, I would think that they would put it as .055 then... i dunno
the higher the applications number the newer or possibly 'better' the os will be.
you can see and download the last os for your device from HERE !
last os for AT&T 8310 is 4.50.306
Good luck !
i'm using : 8310EastAsia_PBr4.5.0_rel306_PL2.7.0.106_A4.5.0.18 2_AT_amp_T
