I'm with US Cellular, and mine is a 8330m. Have you checked to make sure you don't have a 8330m?

I'm having issues on my phone, I'm not sure if people is having the same problem but my phone crashes/resets itself after an hour of talk-time. I don't know if its an memory leak or not.

Do anyone have the same problem?

Yeah it restarts itself while I'm talking on the phone.

I don't have any themes installed except for the original ones that came with it. Do you think I have too many apps installed? Lol. Because I do, I need to get rid of some because I don't use all of them.

To tell you the truth, what I would do is do a handheld wipe and check the box to remove all third party apps. That would either fix the problem or tell you it's a problem with the OS or not.

Yep. I have the esn based Curve. Still havent tried again tho, but I will soon

I had the same problem with the reset thing. For a minute I thought I was using my Treo!! (bonk). Anyway this version isn't ready for prime time IMHO. Too many bugs/things don't work well/things don't work at all. AND the massive memory leak was bad, having to reboot your phone every 2 hours was THE reason I don't use a Treo anymore.

Ok I'm new to updating the os. The last update i did was a hybrid. So i downloaded the file. Deleted my vendor file, ran the prepackaged program, used shrink os. Tried file launcher everything. The error I received was from the desktop manager that my device could not support or something of the other. I tried downgrading from the hybrid. But the stupid desktop thing downgraded me to 4.5.0.175(295) and no matter how many times i've attempted to downgrade back to 4.5.0.131 I cannot. So I tried upgrading from 4.50.175 os and no deal. Same issue. Sorry for the generalities.... I just gave up and removed the 5.0 os files from my pc. I don't really know where i went wrong.

If I'm not mistaken, this version won't work on an 8330m.

anyone having random vibrating when booting? also freezing when theres phone calls tryin to come thru while txts are trying to come thru while using data? very annoying but only happens every couple of days........thanx

Sounds pretty weird. I would try wiping and reloading.

I have to agree with sun.. not sure how I missed this thread, but my wife has an 8330 on this build has been since the day it came out, she has None of these issues. I would definitely wipe and reload.. did you recently install anything new?
