Not a problem at all.. Just lets me know what your lookin at! go to app loader and take your mouse and go to the little symbol that looks like a phone... DON'T CLICK ITonly move your cursor on it. A little window will popup, third line down will say what version. what is it?
5.0.0.18
OK Have you tried loading through the DM? When you restarted your computer... Did you just restart it or shut it all the way down? sometimes shutting it down and letting it sit for a short period of time and then starting back up will rectify problems. And just for the fun of it... look on your phone and see what os is on it>:)
yes i did try through Dm didnt work either
coulndt find a hidden vendor
hit your start menu ( bottom left corner) - on that page hit search > search all files and folders > in advanced options click on hidden files as well

Same as sm said, but in your search, make sure it isn't date specific. When you search that way it will sometimes automatically default to the current day(today). Just below the date options is the little box to check for searching everywhere.Quote:

Just a few things that I would like to add to make sure you are getting all the steps. Some of these may have already been covered so excuse the repeats
On your pc go to control add/remove and delete any OS's off your pc
Then navigate to c-program files-common files-research in motion-shared-loader files and make sure that folder is empty as well. If it isn't then please delete anything in there. After that is done make sure to empty your recycle bin
Then download and install a fresh copy of the OS you want to install to your pc. Once installed navigate to c-program files-common files-research in motion-app loader----scroll down and delete the vendor file. It should look like this
http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/w...s/app6-1_0.jpg
Once that is deleted, launch loader.exe located in the same folder. It should look like this
http://i721.photobucket.com/albums/w.../apploader.jpg
And see if that works for you :)
You all have no Idea how much you are helping I will delete everything and try again as soon as I get home
