Thread: Anybody really disappointed with 5.0.0.0.438?

I tried it out on my VZW 8330, seemed really bogged down memory usage wise, felt a lot like a beta (it was better than .230, but not by much). For me, the only OS that's worked satisfactorily so far has been Verizon's 4.5.0.175 (allows me to load a bunch of apps and multitask pretty well, whereas Verizon's 4.5.0.138 was horrible.) What OS versions do you guys recommend?

Try making a hybrid out of the two... Take .438's java and load it over .175... or check around for some premade hybrids. That may help.
