If you backup your data...and after OS install...restore your data, you shouldn't lose anything. Did you see the part about backing up and restoring using DM?

Yes I reviewed that part as well. What the hell I will give it a shot. Out of curiosity and I may have asked this before but at any point during the process can I delete an IT policy?

BOOM!!! ya got me there !! I don't know about IT policys...sorry. But I have changed my OS 'bout a hundred times, and I always backup...and after I'm done loading, I restore, and all my "stuff" is back, and most of the time...in the same place I left it !!

To remove an IT policy, the device must not be connected to a BES server any more. After that you can probably use BlackBerry Master Control to remove the IT policy. I don't have specific instructions though.

No idea if the IT policy is gone, I don't think so, but I can handle that until I get a new BB. I went through the tutorial for one BB and when I connected the other it automatically asked if I wanted the new OS. Thanks everyone for the advice and help. I love the new OS, I had no idea I was missing things in the browser and other part of my BB! Its like a new one!

anyone else find that the calendar entries for this OS are not the same as before? it will only allow me to make an entry for the day i choose, and will not let me make it longer than one day, nor will it let me edit entries to move them to other days?
