BlackBerry 8330m. I just realized the issue. What's interesting is that the label under the battery shows the model number being an 8330 with an ESN rather than an MEID. Thanks for your help.

any one had luck loading the precision theme?
installed running two days now.
runs pretty smooth running the precision theme.
boot time is absolutely insanely fast under 2 minutes!
boots with 30mb but over 12 hours seems to leak down to 20 ish...then is stable around that
Trying to get this OS to function on a US CELLULAR 8330. It apperantly has installed, however, the loading bar is stuck once it gets up to approximately 75%?
HELP
How long has it been stuck ?...sometimes they do that and the best thing is to wait.
Like ten minutes - haha my friend will kill me, ive been bragging about how amazing BBOS and its newest OS's are. And now I kill her phone haha awesome.
I just wiped it again, made sure the V.XML is gone, and ran the LOAD OS thru BBSAK again. -crossing fingers-:Eyecrazy:
Yep, I am no newbie to the whole OS upgrade jigg, so thats why I panicked when it got stuck
HaHa....Oh OK. Well hope it flows smoooothly this time. Good Luck !! :biglaugh:![]()
So I have to say I am a complete idiot apparently. Did not think to unplug the device from the computer during its post OS install reboot. It quickly filled and my friend ran off with her phone to nurture her BlackBerry addiction lol.
Whew - I got a little worried there.
THANKS TO Orio!!!

I am on a verizon 8330. Anyone else having problems with the memory getting eaten up and then the phone locking up?
man I had the same problem, tried the hybrid and still get the same about screen memory low, I'd try a reset once a day, that worx for me :bandit:
i know this is old info for you guys but i have been trying to load this OS onto an 8330 and it just doesn't want to load it. I have run it a couple of times and the BB desktop won't find it. And when i browse for it, it tells me that the file isn't compatable. I did read that the vendor file may need to be removed in order to allow that to happen. how do i do that? This BB is my girlfriends old one that is no longer connected on a system and i want to flip to this one from my old one. I am trying to update it before i swap to it. Any suggestions would be great thanks.
Here's a very good tutorial...check it out http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/b...es-videos.html
done and done! an amazing tutorial! all set on the newer 8330. i do have one more question. if i was to simply to this to the older one, would i lose all of my pushed emails and calendar entries?
